Nadeel Wildschutt

NADEEL’S STORY

Nadeel grew up in Ceres, South Africa, a small town about 105 miles from Cape Town, with his brother, and fellow HOKA NAZ Elite teammate, Adriaan. Nadeel attended Coastal Carolina University from 2017-2019 where he was coached by fellow South African, and former world record holder, Zola (Budd) Pieterse. 

BEFORE JOINING HOKA

Nadeel is a two-time South African 10,000m Champion, winning the national title in 2024 and successfully defending it in 2025. Nadeel made his marathon debut at The 2025 Marathon Project, finishing 3rd in 2:09:40.

NCAA STATS

Nadeel won three-straight Sun Belt Conference titles in Cross Country from 2017-2019. In 2017, Nadeel was an All-American at the NCAA Cross Country Championships where he finished 28th in 29:52. In 2019, Nadeel was first in the 10,000m and second in the 5,000m at the Sun Best Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. At the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships, Nadeel finished 13th with a time of 29:54, becoming a Second Team All-American.
